Placing Our Children in God's Hands

As a mother, the love and concern we feel for our children can be overwhelming. I have twin boys who are nine years old, and lately, my worries about their future have been consuming me. Their next steps, especially their transition to high school, have me questioning everything. What if I need to place them in different schools? How will my one son, who struggles to stand up for himself, cope? Is Amsterdam a safe place for them to grow up? These thoughts swirl around my mind daily, bringing anxiety and sleepless nights.

But two days ago, during my quiet prayer time, I found peace and guidance. As I poured out my worries to God, the Holy Spirit gently reminded me of His constant protection over my children and our family. It was a moment of profound clarity and peace. I realized that while I might not always know what’s best for my boys or what they need, God does. This understanding brought me a wave of relief.

We often find ourselves trying to control every aspect of our children's lives, thinking we know what's best. But the truth is, we don't have all the answers. What we do have is the power of prayer and faith. Covering our children with anointing oil, praying for their safety and guidance, and trusting in God's plan for their lives is the greatest weapon we have against our fears.

It’s natural to worry; it's part of being a parent. But instead of letting those worries consume us, we can place our children in God's hands. He loves them even more than we do and has plans for them that are far greater than we can imagine. When I look back, I see how God has always been there, protecting and guiding us, even when I didn't realize it.

So, I want to encourage you, fellow parents, to place your children in God's hands. Trust that He will guide them, protect them, and lead them down the path they are meant to follow. Let's replace our worries with prayers and our fears with faith. God is with us and our children, every step of the way.
